Educational communication

Sino-Australian Education Forum

Starting in 2015, with the support of Australian education authorities, as well as the Chinese education sector, SACEEA has hosted the annual Sino-Australian International Forum on Understanding Education. The forum covers important issues such as understanding international education, student development, literacy, curriculum reform and implementation strategies. In particular, it has also been an avid supporter of the STEAM curriculum.

Sister schools

SACEEA helps Chinese universities, primary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools and even kindergartens to establish and maintain sister school connections with Australian and British schools. Through this connection, we aim to enhance international exposure in our students, while also developing long term and healthy friendships between the two sister schools.
To achieve this, SACEEA organizes a variety of colorful summer and winter camps, study tours and collaborations across borders to introduce our parents, students and teachers to an up close and personal experience with the local education environment. Thus, we hope to immerse our students in the local culture, to broaden our student’s horizons and allow our students to experience life in a different culture and a different language.

Education Training

SACEEA provides Chinese primary and secondary school teachers with the
opportunity to visit famous universities throughout Australia, Europe
and the United States and to study the different teaching methods and
skills available in these regions.
Teachers can thus deepen their understanding of the history, customs
and cultural background of these countries by participating in various
cultural immersion programs along with an in-depth experience of local
schools. Furthermore, teachers can promote these educational
exchanges between the two countries by providing their thoughts on
their experiences abroad.
These seminars are designed to be taught at highly rated Australian
institutions with government-accredited teaching qualifications;
including but not limited to: the University of NSW, Royal Melbourne
Polytechnic University, the University of Sydney, the University of
Technology, Sydney and the University of Sussex in England.
The training for the teachers utilizes a variety of teaching methods,
including lectures, in-class lectures and class discussions. These factors
have proven to be highly effective in consolidating and improving the
teaching experience.
